Tavaci: Spring Concert

Haley had her spring concert for her Tavaci group this past weekend. It is so fun to watch these performances! The group leaders do a fantastic job and they always put on a great show. She seems to really love the group and have a good time.

Mom and Haley after the performance.

Haley is on the bottom row, second from the left. This was before their "We are the champions" by Queen song--I think she's really getting into character here.

Another picture from the performance.

And Finally. . . .GRASS!

We layed sod this weekend. We have been waiting for grass for a long time. This is a picture of the kids, including many neighbor kids, enjoying the fresh lawn. It is so nice to look out the window and see green grass instead of brown dirt. We look forward to having nice green grass--just in time for summer!

Hello Again!

Has it really been that long since a post? The time seems to fly by! We have been busy with baseball and spring soccer with the boys. Kacie started ballet and that has added another run into town for me. She looks forward to it and asks every day if she has ballet that day. Its so cute to see her twirl around.

When we woke up to snow a few weeks ago, I decided that I needed to get away from Rexburg so I packed up the kids and headed to grandma's for the kids' spring break. It was still cool in Caldwell, but there was no snow so it felt like heaven to us. The kids were able to go to an Easter egg hunt at the mall while we were there. Here is a picture of grandma with Haley before the hunt started.

Zach and Brayden wanted to share their new found talent in rapping. Its a little dark--sorry. So, for your viewing pleasure I present Zach and Brayden with the McDonald's Rap. (taken from a You Tube video)

In Loving Memory

The beginning of the week was really rough for our family. We had to say good by to our dear friend, Tess. She got really sick and there just wasn't anything the vet could do to save her. We are lucky to have spent the past 5 1/2 years with such a sweet dog. We have many fond memories with her and will miss her greatly!

Nate got shot!

Nate got his pre-kindergarten boosters yesterday. I forgot how many shots they give these poor kids--5! He was so excited to go and get them so he would be ready for kindergarten. When it was over--so was the excitement. Kacie said--mom, I don't want those! His poor little legs look like pin cushions. He was all better by the time we got to Arctic Circle and he got his kids meal and toy. What a brave boy!

Still loving the snow

I am so ready for spring! The kids, however, are still enjoying the cold snow!
I thought this was a cute picture of Kacie carrying her sled up the little hill outside our patio door. The drifts are just high enough to have made a perfect little hill for Nate and Kacie to sled down. I love that her hat is on over one eye and she doesn't even seem to notice.

At the top of the hill starting to go down, Kacie turns her head to say cheese to the camera.

I wanted to throw in this picture of Nate because it totally says Nate. This look on his face, crooked ears and classic Nate hair do are what make me smile every day! Love this guy!

Footbal Season?

It's always football season around here! The boys could do this for hours. My rule of no ball in the house goes in one ear and out the other! Maybe I should just give up and embrace it--at least they are playing nicely together--for now!

Valentine Prom

Our stake held an adult Valentine prom this past weekend. Brett was so good to go with me! We went out to a nice dinner before the dance. We had a great time and it was fun to get dressed up like we use to for the high school dances. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband! He is the best in every way!
