"We're going to the moon!"

Nate is pretending to fall out of his rocket ship.

Nate and Kacie were playing with the boxes when I was trying to pack some things today. They got the crayons out and colored their rocket ships. They told me they were going to the moon!

Nate and Kacie are waving good by as they leave for the moon.

My two astronauts ready for take off!
I am glad that kids can be so easily entertained! Just give them some boxes, crayons and tape and they are happy for a long time!
Its a good thing they have rocket ships to take them places because moms car is having trouble and we are stuck at home for awhile! I hate when that happens!

Basketball Season

This is "coach Brett" in action

Zach in action!

Brayden in action!

Our Saturdays are filled with the boys' basketball games lately. I went to the games with my camera ready and determined to get some great pictures/video. I think I need to take a photography class or something because I just can't seem to get a good clear picture. I have a good camera so that's not it--it's me I know. I think Nate or Kacie played with the setting on my camera because all the pictures were blurry. Anyway, I wanted to share what I was able to get. The video of Brayden isn't very good because you can't see him--he's behind the pole! But, I promise its him who made the basket. Brett is coaching Brayden's team this year. I think they both enjoy that. Its really fun to go to the games and cheer for them. So far both teams are undefeated--good job boys!

p.s. I accidentally posted this on the Robinson Family blog as well. Sorry for the duplicate!--oops! This blogging thing takes some practice!

Snow Art!

Sometimes its really hard to pass the time on cold winter days! Nate and Kacie get cabin fever and love to go outside to play. Today they "painted" the snow. I filled spray bottles with water and food coloring for them to use. They thought it was awesome. Everything went great until Kacie went in the house and sprayed the carpet and couch. Ugh! That was right after I finally got the permanent marker off of the kitchen counter. Gotta love them!

Eight Is Great!

Just wanted to post some pictures of Haley on her birthday last week. I can hardly believe that my sweet Haley is eight years old! She is into High School Musical everything. She got a karaoke maching for Christmas and sings along to the sound track and also to Hannah Montana. She really belts it out. Kacie even like the karaoke and sings "start pumpin' up the party" by Hannah Montana--it cracks me up. Funny how the older ones influence the younger ones--and not always in a good way. Nate will go around the house saying "you want a piece of me?" --I wonder which one taught him that? Oh well. Haley is really growing up into an awesome girl. I am really proud of her. I have many "proud mom" moments with her. Happy Birthday Haley!!

Tour Guides

We are so excited to have been asked to be some of the tour guides for the Rexburg temple open house. I think it will be really neat to take people through. Tonight is our first night as guides. We will be doing the tours every Thursday night from 5-9:30pm. If any of you have tickets for that time I hope we'll see you there. We took the kids last night and they really enjoyed it. I am really excited to have a temple in my own back yard--so to speak. Anyway, I think this is an awesome opportunity for Brett and I and we feel really honored and blessed to serve in this capacity.
