Season for Parties!

We hosted the Root Christmas party this past weekend. We had a fun time decorating cookies, playing games, eating food and hanging out!

They think they are too cool for a picture--at least Zach does.

The whole Root gang! And I think we are all looking at the camera! Thanks everyone for coming and making it a fun weekend!

Lagoon and Temple Square

We had a fun weekend in October at Lagoon and then temple square.
Kacie and Nate got their faces painted. You can't go to Lagoon without eating Churros! Yum!

Nate and Kacie had so much fun on the rides!
Kacie on the Dragonfly. My only pictures are of Nate and Kacie because the older kids were set loose in Lagoon and didn't stay with mom!

I love this statue. It's like Christ is gathering his children
The reflective pool.

We had such a fun weekend and has become a yearly tradition for our family.

HALLOWEEN!

Halloween this year was carving some pumpkins and grandma Robinson's annual Halloween party.
Nice pumpkin Kacie!
Zach is going to love that I posted this one!

Nate's Special Day

What a wonderful day it was on Saturday. Nate was baptized. He was the most excited little 8 year old I have ever seen. He counted down the days until it was "the day". I loved the cute smile he had on all day. I know he knew that it was a very important and special day in his life. We are so proud of him! Thanks to everyone who came and supported Nate. It means so much!

Flag Football!

Nate had so much fun playing flag football this year. He did great and loved that his dad was his coach. Brett was an awesome coach and overall they had a successful year.

Nate playing QB. I think he might have a future in this--check out his form
Or maybe as a running back--he looks so serious!
The Eagles 2011. Great year Eagles!

Give me a K-A-C-I-E !!

Kacie did a cheer clinic with the Madison cheerleaders a couple weeks ago. She loved it! They got to perform a cheer at half time of one of the varsity football games. She did great and asked if I could sign her up again. It was so cute to see all the little cheerleaders cheering!

Kacie and some friends.

Happy Birthday to You!

Another birthday in our home this month. Brayden turned 13. So, we now have 2 teenagers in our home. Somehow we are surviving! Brayden had a pretty low key birthday this year. He wanted to eat at Winger's. Since football pretty much takes up any spare minute we have these days, we had to go after his practice at 8 pm. By the time we got home we needed to get kids to bed and we were all stuffed so we decided to cut into his birthday cake the next day. Which, he requested a store bought chocolate. (I got lucky)

I guess 13 is when they are old enough to light their own candles.
Waiting for our food at Winger's
He even led everyone in "Happy Birthday".

We love Brayden's playful spirit and he's the one the younger kids all want to play with. We love having him in our family! He makes us laugh and smile! Happy Birthday Brayd!

Labor Day Weekend

What a fun weekend we had over Labor Day! We were able to camp with lots of family at Green Canyon. After we finally got to our camp site, (after a 3 hour round trip on dusty, narrow mountain roads we settled at Green Canyon) we had a nice weekend playing with cousins and family.
