Day to Remember
I wanted to post about a memorable day. First, Kacie blew her first bubble--she was sure proud of herself. Second, Brett finally gave in and let Haley get her ears pierced. She was sure excited to get this done and been asking for a few years. She picked out a cute pair of colorful daisies and has been great about cleaning and twisting. Yay, for both of you! :)

Happy St. Patty's Day
The leprechaun made it to our house this year. He left a hat full of chocolate gold for the kids. I told them he needed to keep his real gold to pay all of his bills. I made green pancakes for breakfast and we ate them on green plates and drank out of green cups. That's as festive as we get these days. I did make green cupcakes in the afternoon which looked better than they tasted. Thanks to the little green man for the yummy chocolate! :)

Fun Family Night
Brett and I wanted to do something special for the kids for having great report cards. We decided to do a candle-light dinner. We got sparkling cider and fancy glasses to drink from. The kids thought it was great! My camera's flash makes it seem brighter, but it was fun to sit in the dark and have a nice family dinner.
Ping Pong Anyone?
Scripture Cookies
The Friend had a fun idea for scripture cookies so we decided to make them for FHE one night. Everybody looked up a scripture and whatever ingredient was in their scripture was the one they got to put in the bowl.
Nate couldn't wait for the cookies--he filled his mouth so full of cookie dough he could hardly breath.

Give A Day!
You have probably seen the commercials of Disney adversiting a free day at their theme parks for a day of service. I made a quick trip over to Caldwell with Haley Nate and Kacie to give a day of service for Disney. We made fleece blankets. Mom, Laura and David and his family all gave a day! (it actually only took an hour)
They had quilt blocks for the kids to color. They loved doing this and to think that their art would be on someone's quilt.
