Still loving the snow

I am so ready for spring! The kids, however, are still enjoying the cold snow!
I thought this was a cute picture of Kacie carrying her sled up the little hill outside our patio door. The drifts are just high enough to have made a perfect little hill for Nate and Kacie to sled down. I love that her hat is on over one eye and she doesn't even seem to notice.

At the top of the hill starting to go down, Kacie turns her head to say cheese to the camera.

I wanted to throw in this picture of Nate because it totally says Nate. This look on his face, crooked ears and classic Nate hair do are what make me smile every day! Love this guy!

Footbal Season?

It's always football season around here! The boys could do this for hours. My rule of no ball in the house goes in one ear and out the other! Maybe I should just give up and embrace it--at least they are playing nicely together--for now!

Valentine Prom

Our stake held an adult Valentine prom this past weekend. Brett was so good to go with me! We went out to a nice dinner before the dance. We had a great time and it was fun to get dressed up like we use to for the high school dances. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband! He is the best in every way!

Hitting the Slopes!

We went skiing this weekend with the 3 older kids, my sister Laura and Debi's husband Chris and their 3 oldest. We all had a fun times on the slopes!

A kiss from the chairlift! We have a similar picture from when we were dating and wanted to take another!

Brayden is all ready to show the hill who's boss. He pretty much banzais down the hill and comes to a screeching stop right before the line of people waiting to get on the lift--scary!

Ready to go! Haley wanted to make sure she didn't get cold!
We had a fun weekend with Laura and grandma as well. We're glad they could make a trip over!

The Need for Speed!

Brayden had his pinewood derby last week. He still gets pretty excited for them. This was his last year so he was really hoping his car was a winner. I think it ended up somewhere in the middle which is better than last year so I think he was happy. I was happy just to not be in charge for once! :)

Indiana Jones was the theme for his car.

Braces and Fire

I can hardly believe that I have a child in braces! Zach got them put on Monday morning. Its a lot to get use to but he is a good sport about all of it. He is sure growing up and so far the pre-teen years are manageable. Lets hope it stays that way!

A little excitement at our house Saturday afternoon! Zach's scout leaders truck engine caught fire in our drive way when he was dropping Zach off from a camp out. I called 9-1-1 to get the fire department out. Brett and his leader were able to put the fire out before the firefighters got there, but they still wanted to make the drive out to be sure there were no hot spots. Its a little nerve wracking to make the call. Thanks to the kids we have called 9-1-1 five times now--this last time was the only intentional call. I'm sure they thought the kids on Little Town Dr. are at it again!

Hippity-Hop Olympics

Team Robinson--Let the games begin!
Ready, Set, Go!

The kids were racing on the hippity-hops the other night. They were cracking me up! They were laughing and having a great time. It was really funny to see the older kids on them! These races have since been named the hippity-hop Olympics!
