Birds Eye View!

Grandma Robinson had connections and Brett, Haley and her good friend, Holly were able to take a short helicopter ride. Zach is at scout camp and will be so sad he missed this opportunity. Can you believe that Brayden didn't want to go? The girls loved it! Thanks for letting us in on the fun, grandma!

A quick trip

Made a super quick trip down to Salt Lake this past weekend. Got to use a gift certificate I had for Grand America and Rodizios. Since the expiration was approaching fast I snagged my mom, sis, and Haley for a little girls getaway. It was nice to get out of town for a couple of days and really do nothing but chill.

Me, mom and Laura at the This is the Place Monument. I have never been here so it was really interesting to me. Being so close to pioneer day, it was appropriate. I thought it was a great tribute to all the pioneers who sacrificed so much.

This picture got out of order, but its Haley and her cousin Anna around the campfire.

Me and Haley at the Park City Outlet Mall--what a great place! We scored some sweet deals!

Back to the camping trip. Nate loved to fish! What a cute boy!

Dad, Nate and cousin Kyler. It was so pretty there on the reservoir when the sun was setting.

4th of July

We had a great fourth of July! We were minus 2 kids because the boys went to Disneyland with my mom and dad. With just the 3 kids home for the week things seem to be so much easier! Less garbage, less laundry, less dishes, less fighting. . .we love those boys and miss them, but I have enjoyed a tiny break. An outing like going to the parade seems like a breeze with just the 3 kids.

Nate loved the parade. He kept chanting, "I want candy" to all the people going by.

Nate and Kacie waiting so patiently for the parade to start.

Every time Kacie got a piece of candy she ran back to Brett who was holding her loot bag. She was so exciting every time to get a piece that she didn't even notice the candy she was running right past still on the ground.

By this pose you would have thought that Kacie was part of the parade. She loves to put on a show!

My cutie pie!
I don't have any pictures but later in the afternoon we had a neighborhood bbq and fireworks. Most of the families in our subdivision came and we all had a great time eating, visiting, playing games and then finished the night with some awesome fireworks.

Short Post

Just a couple of photos. Zach had his first week away from home. He attended Cedar Badge this past week. As a mom, I was a little worried about him getting cold, wet, hurt and everything else. I worried for nothing! He came home and said he had an absolute blast. He made lots of new friends and after being home a few hours said he missed it and wanted to go back. I guess I better take my cooking to another level. He said he had the best french toast ever while he was there. That's pressure!

I took this picture right after he got back. I think his pack was half his weight!

Happy Father's Day to Brett last Sunday. This is how he spendt some time after church. You can tell that his little girls think daddy is the best--and so do the rest of us. He totally deserves the pampering. We are all so glad for daddy and everything he does for us! We love you!!

Kacie turns 4!

Is it even possible that my baby girl is four? I can't believe how fast its gone. I can't really call her a baby anymore! She was lucky enough to spend her birthday at the beach during our Seaside trip.

All she wanted was to ride the carousel on her birthday. I was glad I could make that wish happen.

She will probably be the only kid to have their birthday at the beach. We love Kacie and the cute things she does and says. We definitely have more excitement in our family because of her!

Trip to Seaside

We had a great trip to Seaside the first of this month. We were able to go with my mom and dad and sister. It was a long drive, but well worth spending a week on the beach.

This is a picture of some of us in front of the resort we stayed in.

grandma and grandpa with the kids at Cannon Beach with Haystack Rock in the background

Nate had a blast playing in the water even though it was freezing cold!

This is the carousel in the Seaside Mall. Brayden and Zach just being funny.

Nate and Kacie didn't last long in the kids pool at the resort. This was the only time they swam in it. They went to the "big kids pool" every time after--which was every day and some days twice a day!

We rented paddle boats one of the days. This is the "loser" boat. We had them beat in the race every time, thanks to Nate who was sweating and red face because he wasn't going to let them win!

We had fun feeding the seals at the aquarium. The seals were really funny and barked at us to feed them.

It was a great trip and the west coast was gorgeous!

The kids found lots of shells and sand dollars on the beach. We had to bring them all home in a shoe box--I hope they don't start to stink!

Teton Dam Marathon relay

Oh what fun we had this last Saturday running with our relay teams!
This is the two teams. It was fun to run the same leg of the relay as Brett. He passed me, then I passed him--slow and steady wins the race!
Right after our leg of the race. Check out his farmer tan!

The "Hibbard Hot Mommas". This is a fantastic group of ladies. We are already planning for next year--oh yeah, we came in first for the all women's relay division!:) Looks like I am trying to push everyone over! I must be tired.
